Offer Manager

Our Client is a Global company that develops and manufactures electronic products and systems.

WHAT PROFESSIONAL PROFILE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

To strengthen Our Client’s Marketing team, we are looking for an Offer/Product Manager that will focus on driving products & systems roadmap to the next level.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Define the 4Ps (Product, Price, Place, Promotion): Define the roadmap evolution according to the gaps on features, quality, compliance with standard, profitability; Optimize the stock keeping Unit, Define and release annually the Pricing guide, Monitors and review the references and delta prices, Work with all Channel Managers to maximize the offer business, Work with the communication & marketing teams to update tools.

Conduct market research & competitive benchmarks: Includes listening to customers and channel partners, monitoring competitive trends and industry market research studies, as well as, tracking emerging trends in technology.

Champion new offer plans: Based on market research the Offer Manager will create and communicate detailed business cases and specifications proposing new product developments to Executive staff and Development teams. These documents include: key product features, position relative to existing products, cost and price point analysis, competitive position, anticipated launch strategy, risk analysis, time to market and return on investment targets together define a successful product definition.

Coordinate and monitor development: During the development process the Offer Manager will work regularly with engineering teams to refine requirements and monitor progress. The Offer Manager will also update Executive staff with the status of key projects.

Coordinate cross-departmental activity: As the product nears launch the Offer Manager will coordinate with other departments to ensure that they are ready to support the product at launch. This includes; Marketing Communication collateral development, Price Lists, User Documentation, Training development, and Distribution Channels both domestic and international.

Ongoing offer line performance management: In addition to managing the new product creation process the Offer Manager is also responsible for supervising the ongoing performance of existing offers in the market. This includes tracking sales performance, developing enhancements that extend the product, managing price increases and margin contribution, creating hardware and software bundles, creating special offers, as well as, managing end of life by developing pruning and migration strategies which balance the needs of the customer and channel vs. corporate profitability goals.

Travel Requirement: approximately 25% of time.

 

WHAT SKILLS WILL WE VERIFY?

Degree in Sales & Marketing (an MBA or equivalent business experience is highly desired) with a strong product management experience, engineering skills is also a key selection criterion.

We are looking for someone who can engage immediately in this challenging but rewarding role. To this end previous experience in offer/product management for electronic products & systems will be required.

The successful candidate will possess superior writing, verbal, and listening skills along with the ability to speak in public settings and to engage in discussions with Senior Executive staff.

Capability to adapt the communication to level of people is a key asset.

Strong analytical skills are required, including; the ability to use advanced features of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint to conduct and present plans and analysis.

Fluent in English (mandatory), Italian (Preferred)

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

The successful Offer Manager must possess knowledge in several of the areas below:

Market segmentation & Customer targeting, Market Research & Data Management

Pricing Management: Experience in defining and deploying a pricing strategy based on market data. Must be capable to track pricing and address deltas.  

Software: Must understand key features desired by customers, as well as, software architectures, databases, and user interface concepts used in Building Automation Systems.

Enterprise IT Networking: Ethernet TCP/IP and related network protocols and standard IT products provided by IT Vendors.

Your work place will be in the North of Italy.
